Our Origin

On May 23rd of 2022, I became a member. In a singular, devastating moment, I joined the vast, unrecognized group of people who personally understand the core definition of the word grief.

Heart-wrenching, soul-baring, life-altering sadness that even the word itself so spectacularly fails to describe. Membership into a club no one would ever voluntarily join.

What I did not yet understand however was the isolation that was to come with my membership. And the inability of non-members to understand—to realize not only the depth, but the duration of the event.
